St. Patrick’s Day 2022 Event: Parades and other celebrations are planned in the Twin Cities to mark the celebration of Ireland’s most famous patron saint – plus everything Irish

Possibly the capitol of all St. Patty-related events in Minnesota, the state’s capital city will once again host a parade beginning at noon in Rice Park and traveling down 5th Street, ending in front of CHS Field, the traditional venue for the parade. The path would be the opposite

Immediately after parade-goers can join the Ballpark Hule at CHS Field from 12 to 3 p.m. featuring live music, Irish dancers, and beer specials

Tickets to the event run $5 if purchased in advance or $10 at the gate

The Landmarks Center in St. Paul will also hold an event on Thursday to mark the holiday. Produced by the Irish Music and Dance Association, the festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Celtic music, dancing, and features authentic vendors

The event will also be live-streamed but a ticket is required to watch the stream. Proof of vaccination or recent negative test is required for visitors

The 54th Annual Minneapolis St. Patrick’s Day Parade will return to Columbia Heights on Thursday, with the parade beginning at 6 p.m. at 40th Avenue NE and Van Buren Street

The parade will head west at Van Buren on the 40th, hang to the left at Mill Street NE, and John P. Murzin Hall will end
